For those who don’t know the storyline, without giving away too much, Where The Crawdads Sing follows the story of Kya, a young woman who is abandoned and left to raise herself in a small town. But when the town’s golden boy Chase Andrews is murdered, Kya becomes the main suspect.

Sharing her excitement to Instagram, Daisy reshared the news on Deadline, saying:

Now, we don’t have any more cast details, let alone a release date for the movie, but, we’re not complaining, we’re just so excited to see this land on the big screen.

Who knows, Paul Mescal might even make a little appearance?! Well, that’s a reunion for our dreams anyways.
