Dua Lipa Is The Latest Celeb To Come Under Fire For Holidaying During Covid-19

Dua Lipa fans aren’t happy with the star’s latest trip to the sun.

Over on Instagram, the 25-year-old has been sharing photos of her break with her friends in Mexico. A gang of them – including boyfriend Anwar Hadid can be seen partying and in close contact.

Fans are upset by Dua’s decision to travel after she posted stay at home messages back in April on her platform before heading on multiple holidays including those to St Lucia, Pennsylvania, Palm Springs, her family home in London and now, Mexico.

Dua Lipa having the audacity to tell us to stay at home when she’s been in about 4 different continents over the pandemic.

The Cool singer has been sharing plenty of snaps from her holidays, which have garnered a lot of attention, especially as fans call out her beau Anwar for reportedly saying he wouldn’t get the Covid-19 vaccine because “our bodies are made by the creator”.

However, he has since clarified that he’s not “anti-vax” but added: “I think everyone has to be careful with each vaccine individually looking at positive and possible negative effects.”

A lot of celebrities have been called out for their travel in the past couple of months, especially for then taking to their social media to justify their reasoning for travel. Many fans are now getting annoyed at these influencers and celebrities with a large platform writing: “It’s needless travelling! Whether it’s within the guidelines or not…. it’s still putting us all at risk when we’re encouraged to stay at home.”

Dua or Anwar have yet to respond to the backlash.
