Have you noticed Emma Chamberlain has been missing from TikTok lately?

The Youtuber has completely deleted her account, where she had over 10m followers.

She took to Instagram Stories to show her followers she was deleting the app and her account captioning the post ‘good riddance’.

Emma explained in more detail why she got rid of her account on her podcast Anything Goes.

“I didn’t realize how bad the problem was until I cut TikTok out of my life,” she explained.

“As dumb as it may sound, it has been genuinely a life-changing experience. It’s crazy how much I have realized.

“It seemed like TikTok kept me entertained in the bed to the point where I would stay in bed so much longer. Within the first few days of deleting TikTok, I stopped laying in bed so much because I would get so bored. It forced me to get and I felt like I was doing more chores.”

Fans spoke out on social media, with most people being hugely supportive of Emma’s decision.

“emma chamberlain deleted tiktok so maybe i should too,” one Twitter user said.

Another added: “when miss emma chamberlain decides to delete her tiktok account.. you know how much the app went downhill”

“Emma Chamberlain just deleted her tiktok, what a icon!” another said.

Don’t worry though, Emma is still on Instagram and YouTube.

In November of 2020 however, she deleted her Twitter account.

Due to the timing, some even thought it was due to the US presidential election where Joe Biden was elected over Donald Trump.

Emma later took to Instagram to explain that she doesn’t want to engage in drama but that the election is something to celebrate, leading some people to take this as subtle support for Joe Biden.

“I really don’t like to engage in any internet drama/ lies,” she began. “But today is a VERY big day. Today is a day to celebrate.”

“I really don’t want to spend today defending made up facts about me. I hope we can all come together today, celebrate, and LOVE each other. The future is very bright. I love you all so much. Every single one of you.”
