Hold On, Are Stormzy & Maya Jama About To Get Engaged?

Love is not dead, because Stormzy and Maya Jama are back together… and may even be getting engaged some time soon.

The pair were recently spotted holding hands and looking generally happy out on a holiday in Greece, confirming what we had all hoped to be true – that they were back on.

And although the couple have yet to even reference their rekindled relationship in public, there’s already rumours abound that Stormzy may be planning to propose too.

A source apparently close to the couple told The Sun that the rapper believes Maya is ‘The One’ and that he wants to settle down with her.

“Stormzy knows how lucky he is to have gotten Maya back and he’s determined not to lose her again,” they said. “He wants to make her his wifey for lifey. He’s telling his mates this is it for him now, he’s found the one.

Good for them, honestly.

Maya and Stormzy began their relationship back in 2015 and split in 2019.

Whispers of their reconnection began earlier this year when the pair were spotted together at events, and later confirmed when Stormzy reportedly took the Love Island host to Greece for her birthday. 

A source said at the time: “Stormzy is mad for Maya and has spent huge amounts of money taking her on a luxury holiday.

“He chartered a private jet to Greece then they flew into the resort by helicopter. It’s all very romantic. The Amanzoe is incredibly pricey and they’ve been waited on hand and foot.

“It was Maya’s birthday earlier this month and this trip is a bit of a belated birthday present from Stormzy to Maya. She means the world to him and he wants her to be treated like a queen.”
