Is Britney Spears The Next Celeb To Join Oprah In Her Garden?

Oprah Winfrey has been the go-to host for all access celebrity interviews lately, from Meghan and Harry to Adele. And it seems as though someone else might be opening up to her soon.

None other than the icon Britney Spears.

After the termination of her oppressive 13-year conservatorship, Brit took to Instagram to thank fans and share some of her life, now she is free. A particular celebrity interviewer got a shout out in her caption.

Brit captioned the post, beginning with, “I might as well do a hint of my thoughts on the gram before I go and set things square on @Oprah 😜🤷🏼‍ !!!!! I mean who knows …”

So while this might just be some playful humour on Brit’s part, it hardly seems like a wild idea.

Oprah’s recent interviews have helped some public figures share their sides of stories, which after being censored for so long, seems like something Britney would be interested in. And Oprah is exceptionally well respected in her industry and would probably be interested in an exclusive Brit interview too.

Oprah’s interviews are known for creating iconic moments. Be it Adele opening up about her divorce or Tom Cruise jumping up and down on the couch proclaiming his love for Katie Holmes.

In the rest of the caption, Britney shared a little more about her life now:

“ I do know how embarrassing is to share the fact I’ve never seen cash or wasn’t able to drive my car …. but honestly it still blows my mind every day I wake up how my family and the conservatorship were able to do what they did to me … it was demoralizing and degrading !!!! I’m not even mentioning all the bad things they did to me which they should all be in jail for … yes including my church going mother !!!! I’m used to keeping peace for the family and keeping my mouth shut … but not this time … I have NOT FORGOTTEN and I hope they can look up tonight and know EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN !!!!”

Her video shared very similar sentiments. She explained that she’s enjoying the simple things in life now that she’s free.

“So I’m just grateful for each day and being able to have the keys to my car, to be able to be independent and feel like a woman. Owning an ATM card, seeing cash for the first time, being able to buy candles. It’s the little things.”

As for future plans, Brit’s got a few. “ I’m here to be an advocate for people with real disabilities and illnesses,” she said, calling the conservatorship system “corrupt.”

Britney’s conservatorship officially ended on the 12th of November. Before that, her finances and personal life were heavily controlled by her family and management group.
