Louise Cooney Chats ‘Next Chapter’ As She Starts Wedding Planning

Louise Cooney is preparing to walk down the aisle.

The mam of one is ready to become a blushing bride after her partner, Mark Sweeney popped the question this summer.

Speaking to STELLAR at this year’s Hayu InstaStar Awards she gushed about her fabulous engagement at Spanish Point in Clare.

“It was amazing. It was just so perfect,” she tells us with the biggest smile, but she had no idea it was coming.

“I had hoped and we had talked about it. I was excited for our next chapter but he did it so well. He just totally threw me off! He planned it in a way that was very us and he got Jude involved as well. It was just perfect.”

While she’s definitely soaking up her engagement bliss, she is already stepping into wedding planning!

“We’re starting to talk about it. We’ve started making lists and we’re actually viewing a place this weekend. We’re getting it started because we haven’t really settled on what we want. So we have to explore our options to see what is really us,” she explains.

Outside of wedding plans, she is the proud mam to 10-month-old Jude and it’s safe to say the little one takes up most of her time. Not that Louise minds.

She confesses that she is starting to find her feet in this new stage of her life.

“I am actually trying to get more time back for myself and finding my feet. I’m getting comfortable with being a mam and a working mam. I’m just trying to figure it out. It feels different, it feels good.”
