It looks like Love Island winner and new mom Dani Dyer is set to finally dip her foot in acting, making an appearance in EastEnders next month, alongside her dad and his well known character Mick Carter.
Having always spoke about her love for acting and hope to pursue it after her stint in reality TV, Dani will be featuring – at first – in a cameo role, as a cab driver who picks up Mick Carter in one scene.

Filming the scene a few weeks back, it’s believed that Dani won’t be playing herself like many celeb appearances, but instead, will also have a character name which hasn’t yet been disclosed.
Many would have loved Dani to appear on TV as a carter sibling and child of Mick Carter, but as Mick has only recently found out that he’s the father of new character Frankie Lewis, it’s doubtful we’ll ever see Dani in a similar role.
Right now, the new mom is focusing on her mummy duties, welcoming her first child into the world with partner Sammy Kimmence. The pair welcomed Santiago or “Santi” for short in January of this year.

Taking to Instagram at the time, proud grandfather Danny Dyer wrote:
“So my baby had a baby. F**k me we needed some joy this year. So proud of you @danidyer cannot wait to meet the little beaut.”
In other family news, Dani’s partner Sammy Kimmence is looking at potential time in jail according to reports, after pleading guilty to five counts of fraud including a scam involving two pensioners where he apparently posed as a financial investor.

As for Dani’s appearance, we’ve got no date on it yet, so keep your eyes peeled on the box in June, you might just see a familiar face.
