Throughout her time on Made In Chelsea, Lucy would often be filmed with little Digby, more so towards the end of her time on the show, when she was living with Stevie Johnson and beginning to date now fiancé, James Dunmore.

Explaining that she often thought about when this day would come as her dog got older, Lucy admitted that no matter how much she tried to prepare herself, it’s still incredibly heartbreaking.

“I knew this day would come, I used to tear up just thinking about it. I wish more than anything that we could have had more time together… But I am so beyond grateful for the time we did get to share and I know I loved you as much as physically possible every single day,” the 29-year-old revealed.

Taking to the comments to share their love and condolences, former MIC cast mate Nicola Hughes wrote:

“Best Mum he could have ever asked for.”

While sister Tiff admitted that she’s going to miss not seeing him everyday.

It’s not easy.
