Vogue Williams has revealed she’ll be returning to Ireland at the end of this month and can’t wait to see her family.
The Howth native, who is mum to Theodore and Gigi, has been based in the UK with husband Spencer for a number of years.
Before restrictions came in, she would have made regular trips back home, but hasn’t been able to do so since before lockdown in March 2020.
From the end of this month she’ll be allowed return, and is counting down the minutes until she can reunite with loved ones.
“I know that all the dates for Ireland have been announced now. I just want to go home to Ireland. I’d be happy to be in lockdown over there, just get me back,” Vogue said at the virtual Life On Line event.
“I am coming home. I haven’t booked a flight, but I am definitely going home on 31st May.”
She continued, “I’m going to start doing a daily countdown because it’s been so long. I’ve booked to come home so many times.
“I was supposed to come home before Christmas, but then the rules changed literally – I packed and everything and the rules changed and I couldn’t go back. So, it’s kind of been like that.
“Because I had Gigi, I couldn’t travel when I was too pregnant, and then she was too young to travel, and the rules changed again.
“I will eventually get home and they will meet Gigi. It’s a shame that they didn’t get to meet her when she was a newborn but it’s grand. She’s more fun now anyway.”

Last year Vogue and Spencer bought their dream home in Dublin to use as a base for whenever they travel here.
“We aren’t moving home but we have wanted a bigger space in Dublin for a long time. Now we can all fit and hopefully spend a little more time in Ireland,” she said on social media.
They teamed up with Irish interior designers to complete their “beachy, modern” home – and while she’s been sharing gorgeous snaps of the final product, Vogue has sadly yet to see it in person.

“I never imagined I would own my own house in my favourite place in the world, well I did, but I didn’t actually think it would happen,” she said.
“I really hope I can get home to see it soon. It’s the perfect place for our family to spend lots of time.
“We may never move home full time but it’s so important for our children to have their Irish roots and you never know a bit of an Irish accent.”
