We’re always on the hunt for clean eating breakfast recipes that are satisfying, quick and easy to make and totally scrummy to boot. Enter these Banana & Protein Pancakes, that are ready to eat in five minutes and contain only four ingredients: banana, whey protein, porridge oats and egg.

Why do we love them? Well, they ensure we get our sweet hit before we leave the house in the morning (meaning we’re less likely to overindulge on chocolate before lunch), they’re really filling thanks to being chocker with only wholesome, clean eating-friendly ingredients, and lastly cos they can either be prepared in bulk or rustled up at the speed of light in the AM, they’re great for those mega hectic mornings when we don’t have the time to make anything else.

Want to be make them? Here’s how…

You’ll need:

One Banana

One handful of organic porridge oats

One egg

One scoop of vanilla whey protein

One teaspoon of coconut oil

Optional extras:

One teaspoon of stevia for added sweetness

How To:

1.Combine all of your ingredients (banana eggs, oats and protein) into a Nutri Bullet, blender or mixing bowl.

2.In the mean time, heat the coconut oil in a frying pan, over high heat.

3.Next, blitz your ingredients until thick and smooth.

4.Then, add the mixture to your frying pan and cook each side for approximately one minute or until browned.

5.Lastly, add toppings of your choice. We’ve added greek yoghurt and honey to ours. Other options are nuts and berries, dark chocolate chips and peanut butter. Enjoy!
