Cheers! Here’s The Irish Pub That’s Just Been Named Best In The Country
BRB, off for a pint.
Where’s your favourite place for a tipple? There’s no denying that here in Ireland we’ve got a whole lot of choice when it comes to deciding where we want to enjoy a beverage or two.
But if you’ve ever had trouble choosing where to head for a few scoops, then you best look to Ireland’s National Hospitality Conference which held its 11th annual awards last night, doling out gongs to the best bars and restaurants in the country.
The bar voted best in Ireland? Drum roll please… It’s The Stag’s Head on Dublin’s Dame lane.
It’s one of Dublin’s oldest and most popular watering holes, taking the top spot ahead of Lowry’s Irish Music And Whiskey Bar in Clifden and Doheny & Nesbitt on Baggot Street.
There were 28 other categories at last night’s awards do.
The Vintage Cocktail Club on Crown Alley scooped the award for best cocktail bar, Toner’s on Baggot Street nabbed best traditional pub, and The Wright Venue won best nightclub.
Now, who’s for a drink?
