Chris Pratt And Katherine Schwarzenegger Announce They’re Expecting Their First Baby

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are expecting their first baby together! This is Katherine’s first child, and Chris Pratt’s second.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star already has a boy, Jack with his ex-wife, Anna Faris. The couple split in August 2017 and they settled their divorce in November 2018.

Katherine, who is the daughter of actor turned politician Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, is a lifestyle blogger and self-help book author.

The couple are only recently married, having tied the knot less than a year ago. They shared the news at the time with identical Instagram posts; “We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives.”

After they wed rumours began circulating straight away on when the couple would have children. An E! News insider shared at the time that Katherine “expressed she’d love to be pregnant in early 2020. Chris has a busy year coming up with filming, but both of them are ready to start this next chapter and bring a baby into their happy marriage.”

On Father’s Day 2019 Katherine shared a touching message to Chris Pratt on Instagram, in relation to his seven year old boy, Jack. The couple have always been very open about the fact they want to start a family together.
