Chrishell Stause Had A Very Calm Response To Finding Out About Her Ex’s Marriage

Anyone who watches Selling Sunset (which, let’s face it, is all of us) knows that drama is never far away. But Chrishell Stause just proved that not everything the gals do is OOT.

While discussing her ex-husband Justin Hartley’s recent re-marriage, Chrishell kept things classy with a very mature response.

During an episode of the latest season, while chatting with colleagues Mary Fitzgerald and Heather Rae Young, Chrishell opened up about the news.

She explained, “My ex-husband Justin is remarried to someone I know from back in the day, pretty well, and a lot of things made sense after finding that out. I wish them the best. You know, I think that it actually, if anything, it felt good to know that, it felt like a little bit of closure.”

Chrishell has been thriving since her split from Justin and was in such a great place, that the marriage news didn’t seem to phase her all that much.

She revealed, “honestly, I’ve never been in a better place in my career. I really feel empowered, of being a different, a better version of myself than I ever have been. And I feel like I’ve found my voice. And I feel like there’s no anger left there because now I realise that’s not something I wanted for myself. ”

It’s safe to say Justin is definitely in Chrishell’s past as she said, “I mean, if he wants to have 50 wives, go live your best life because I really feel like I am.”

It’s hard not to be proud of Chrishell for keeping level headed and respectful, and her pals clearly were. Heather couldn’t help but gush about how proud of Chrishell she was and toasted to moving on and thriving.

Chrishell and Justin began seeing each other in 2014, became engaged in 2016 and married in 2017. Justin then filed for divorce in 2019. Chrishell then dropped a bombshell and revealed that he had told her about the divorce by text only 45 minutes before the media broke the news.

Justin recently married his former co-star Sofia Pernas in May 2021. The pair worked together on The Young and the Restless from 2014-2016.

Chrishell is currently in a relationship with boss and co-star Jason Oppenheim.
