Cillian Murphy Is Open To Playing A Ken In A Barbie Sequel

Okay, now how do we make it happen?

Cillian Murphy has been having a pop culture resurgence, and we are living for it.

Ever since the Peaky Blinders actor took the role of Oppenheimer in the eponymous film – which came out this month – he’s been cropping up all over social media (which is a little ironic considering he doesn’t use it).

In fact, the Cork born actor keeps himself out of the limelight as much as possible, which is why fans are so excited by the amount of press Cillian has been engaging in – and how brilliant he is in every interview!

Of course, because of the ‘Barbenheimer’ hype surrounding the fact that both Barbie The Movie and Oppenheimer were released on the same day, Cillian has been fielding a lot of questions about the Mattel inspired film.

Now, one interviewer from CinéFilos has asked him perhaps the most important question of all; would he consider playing a Ken if there was a Barbie sequel?

In classic nonchalant Irish fashion, Cillian smiled back, “Eh, you know, sure. Yeah, let’s read the script. Let’s have a conversation”.

He went on to say, “I can’t wait to see the movie. I think it’s great for cinema. You know, we’ve got all these great movies happening this summer.”

We’re obsessed with this response – and dying to know what he thinks of it, too.

Now, how can we make Cillian as Ken happen? Somebody call Greta!
