Coincidence? Taylor Swift Has Returned To Spotify On The Same Day Katy Perry’s Album Is Released

It comes after years of feuding.

Taylor Swift famously pulled her music from the online streaming service, Spotify, in 2014 saying that artists who value their art should make sure that people are paying enough money for it.

She felt that by giving her music away for free on streaming sites, she would be contributing to a trend of shrinking album sales.

But now she’s changed her tune. This morning, fans of the 27-year-old woke up to the news that every song T-Swift has ever released, from You Belong With Me to Bad Blood, is now available on Spotify.

It’s questionable timing, as the singer’s arch enemy, Katy Perry, released her new album Witness this morning too. Coincidence or…?

The stars haven’t spoken since 2013, and K-Pez recently passed off any blame in a recent interview with James Corden. “There’s a situation,” she said, “Honestly, she started it and it’s time for her to finish it.”

Do you think Taylor’s return to Spotify is just a coincidence?
