Congratulations! Princess Eugenie Has Given Birth To Her First Child

The royals are expanding by one, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank have welcomed their first child into the world, a baby boy born on Tuesday morning in Portland Hospital.

Sharing the news, the happy couple posted a black and white image of the baby’s hand online, a traditional way that the royal family announce a new member.

As one of the only royals with her own Instagram account, Princess Eugenie posted the news on her own channel with blue love hearts symbolising the child’s sex.

Following the announcement, Buckingham Palace added:

“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news.”

Continuing by saying: “Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well”.

It is believed that although this will be the ninth great grandchild for the Queen, the little tot will not have a royal title.

Eugenie first announced her pregnancy back in November, sharing a photo of baby slippers and explaining how excited she was to be growing her family with Jack.

It is believed that Eugenie and Jack have been spending time on the Queen’s estate, living at Frogmore Cottage, the previous home of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for some time.
