Controversial? Pippa Middleton’s Wedding Decision Is Dividing Opinion

What do you reckon?

Anyone who has ever put together a wedding guest list will know that they’re a tricky business. Invite too many and you’ll break your budget, too few and you’re likely to offend a few peeps.

That’s a conundrum bride-to-be Pippa Middleton is facing right now, and her method for cutting down on the invites has ruffled a few feathers.

According to The Mirror, Pippa, who is set to marry James Matthews on May 20th, is enforcing the ‘no ring, no bring’ rule that basically states that unless you’re engaged or married to your other half they won’t be invited.

It’s a contentious decision and many fans have pointed out that it eliminates long-term couples who may have been in serious, committed relationships for several years from attending.

Others reckon Pippa has an ulterior motive for issuing the rule, and have suggested that it’s to stop Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle from attending, in fears that she might upstage the bride.

What do you reckon? Is the ‘no ring, no bring’ rule over the top or a savvy move to keep numbers down?
