Courteney Cox Had Some Words Of Support For The Big Bang Theory Cast Before The Final Episode
It was TOTES EMOSH.
Love it or hate it, after 12 years on TV, The Big Bang Theory is coming to an end.
Last year, it was announced that the hugely popular sitcom’s 12th series would be its last, with the final episode set to air on May 16.
Yesterday, the cast sat down together to read the script for the finale, and things got VERY emotional indeed.
Johnny Galecki (AKA Leonard) posted a photo of himself wiping away tears as cast and crew hugged it out around him.
Aw man. TBBT is now the longest-running sitcom of all time, so you can see why everyone’s so devo – they’ve been coming into work every day with these people for over a decade, and now it’s all ending.
Kaley Cuoco (Penny) was in full bits, even Instagramming a photo of her snotty tissues on her script:

Quoting the show’s theme song, she wrote: “Prepare yourselves… for a finale that has truly given me a loss for words. Our whole universe…”
Offering support was none other than Courteney Cox, who certainly knows how it feels to be part of a long-running TV show. Commenting on Kaley’s photo, she said:
Aww, I remember that feeling… and you guys have been together even longer.
The final episode of The Big Bang Theory will break from tradition and be shot without a studio audience, giving the actors and crew a chance to get weepy.
Johnny Galecki said that reading the final page of the script was the “roughest thing ever”, so you know… expect waterworks.
