Curtis Pritchard Responds To Claims He Cheated On Maura Higgins

Love Island stars Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard may have split up back in March, but it’s only now that Curtis is speaking out about claims he cheated. The couple got together on the show and were together for about nine months before calling it quits.

Though the breakup was said to be due to the long-distance, there were some rumours that Curtis cheated on Maura with pro dancer Amber Pierson.

After the split, Curtis was spotted kissing Amber after she denied claims they did anything while he was still with Maura. Now, Curtis has finally addressed the cheating rumours on his podcast with brother and pro-dancer AJ.

He firmly denied the rumours saying: “The answer is no, I did not cheat on Maura at all, There I’ve answered it.”

Curtis went on to explain why he never acknowledged it previously saying: “For anybody who wants to know why I have never replied or said anything in the press about it, is because I really try not to reply or respond to lies which is really not going to affect my life bar in a negative way or going to blow something up even more which isn’t true.”

He added: “There is no point in it so I don’t waste my time in stuff like that.”

His stance seems pretty firm, and if you’re wondering about him and Amber now, he confirmed that the relationship has ‘fizzled’ out.

Curtis has been spilling lots of tea since starting a podcast with AJ, on a recent episode, he even revealed that he and Tommy Fury aren’t very close anymore. Fans fell in love with the close, wholesome friendship on Love Island, but sadly Curtis explained that he hasn’t heard from Tommy very much since.

“If you want the honest, honest truth. I haven’t spoken to him in ages actually,” he admitted.
