Daisy Edgar-Jones Shares Behind The Scenes Photos From The Filming Of Normal People
Her pictures are gorgeous snapshots into the making of the show.
We all thought Tiger King was the show of quarantine. But it seems Joe Exotic has lost the top spot, as Normal People is clearly the run away hit of 2020.
The BBC adaptation of Sally Rooney’s best-selling novel, has generated as much discussion online as her book did when it came out in 2018.
The show has caused outrage for some, with it’s many sex scenes, which it should be said are not in anyway gratuitous. Poor Joe Duffy was fending off enraged callers left, right and centre this week on Liveline, as some people found it a little too much.
Here at Stellar, we’re massive fans of the show (especially breakout star Paul Mescal) and have become mildly obsessed with it. Daisy Edgar-Jones, who plays Marianne, has shared some behind the scenes snaps from the filming of the show.
Her pictures are gorgeous snapshots into the making of Normal People, featuring images of her with her co-stars, director Lenny Abrahamson and shots of the cast whilst filming in Italy.
She shared the pictures on Instagram with the caption; “Here are just a few of the beautiful faces involved in the making of NP, more to come later.”
“The most wonderful cast and crew and my best pals!!”
If you haven’t watched it yet, what are you waiting for!?
