Demi Lovato’s Ex Isn’t Happy About Her ‘Unengaged’ Comments At The People’s Choice Awards
"exploiting our breakup for clout is not chill."
The engagement and ‘unengagement’ of Demi Lovato and her now ex, Max Ehrich is the literal definition of a hot mess.
With the engagement being a total whirlwind (he popped the question after only a few months) and Max then claiming that he only found out about their break-up through the media, it’s been pretty messy so far.
Things have taken another dramatic turn since Demi hosted the People’s Choice Awards earlier this month, If you tuned in you would have heard Demi kicking off the show with a witty monologue which included her poking fun at her own engagement.

“Honestly, this year has been the longest three years of my life. Don’t got me wrong, it started out amazing. I performed at the Grammys and sung the national anthem at the Super Bowl. But then, COVID hit and everything shut down.”
Demi continued; “So, I did what everyone else did: I went into lockdown mode. And got engaged, got into painting, photography, meditation, tested the limits of Postmates Unlimited … I binged seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars, got unengaged and then I went looking for aliens in the desert, so basically the same as everyone else.”

It seems Max is not happy about this and has been leaving comments this week about it on her Instagram.
Demi shared a snap of her new short, blonde haircut and Max commented not one but two comments underneath; “stop talking about me on award shows. thanks.”
This was followed by; “exploiting our breakup for clout is not chill.”
Yikes.
So far Demi has yet to respond!
