Did You Know About The Hidden Geordie Shore Cast Member?

Ladies – you will not believe this one.

It turns out that there was a cast member on season two of Geordie Shore, called Mari, that we never saw. 

She was an active, participating cast member, on the show for a week – and the producers just cut her clean out!

Can you believe it? We barely can – except it’s come straight from the horses mouth!

In a Q&A TikTok video, iconic Geordie Holly Hagan is asked by someone if it’s true that there was a secret cast member on the show.

“Oh my god – yes. You’ve just jogged the biggest memory. I still can’t believe this happened!” she exclaims.

“So, Magaluf, summer special…we all arrive at the villa, it’s amazing, we’re all having a good time, and the doorbell goes.

“We open the door, and there’s this beautiful blonde girl stood there, and we’re like, oh my god this must be the new cast member! And then she started speaking, and we realised she was Scottish.”

Holly goes on to explain how she thinks this may be where producers made an error, as the show was meant to specifically feature Geordies.

“You’ll know how much stick we all got for being from Middlesborough, from Sunderland, from South Shields. So we were like, Scotland is a little bit of a stretch.”

Holly explains that Mari (pronounced Maw-ry), was “gorgeous” and “really lovely”.

“I got along really well with her, and she filmed with us for the five days.”

“So we all had a great time, filmed the show, and then it comes to come out on TV…when we watched the show, Mari, this beautiful blonde new cast member, had been cut out of every scene.”

“They (the producers) realised afterwards that actually, it didn’t really make sense to have this random Scottish girl there, because it was Geordie Shore.

“So she was cut out of the entire series, I’m not sure what conversations were had between her and the producers. We literally found out when we watched it.”

The influencer goes on to reveal that if you were to watch Season 2 back, you’ll actually see subtle clips of the enigmatic Mari!

“You will notice when we’re sat having chats, like round the pool in the villa, there is a blonde girl sat there…she’s there, she’s there when we were doing the wet T-shirt competitions, she is there!”

Wow. We’re honestly shook! And Holly is too, expressing how sorry she feels for the poor girl being cut from the show.

“I just thought ‘oh my god, that is so awful’. Imagine thinking you were gonna be on a TV show, you told all your friends, and then they literally cut you out, physically, of every scene they possibly could have – apart from your back in a few shots.”

She goes on to call out Mari directly; “If you see this Mari, get in touch, because I’d love to know how you’re doing and what the story was with that! Because we literally had no contact…we didn’t have phones back at the time so it’s not like we could exchange details.

“That was the last time we ever saw, or heard of her. I really hope she’s doing well because that was honestly, brutal!”

We need to find Mari!
