Dr Alex And Girlfriend Ellie Split After 1 Year Together

It seems that Dr Alex is still looking for love after reportedly splitting from his girlfriend.

The 30-year-old didn’t find the one on Love Island but it seemed like things were going well with his girlfriend Ellie Hecht for the past year.

Alex and Ellie had been dating since January of 2021 and enjoyed several holidays and romantic getaways together. They went Instagram official during a trip to Cornwall over the summer and fans were thrilled for the Doc.

The couple even recently adopted a Cavapoo puppy, which they named Freddie.

Sadly it wasn’t meant to be, as reports have emerged that the two have decided to call it quits.

A source told The Sun: “Alex and Ellie tried everything to make it work but sometimes it’s just not meant to be.”

While no specific reason was given for the split, it’s emerged that Ellie will also keep their new pup after moving out of their shared home.

“Ellie will be keeping Freddie and has moved her stuff out of Alex’s new flat. It’s heartbreaking for everyone and Alex is determined they stay friends.”

Neither Ellie nor Alex have spoken publicly about the split, but Alex has revealed that he is travelling to the UAE to speak at the Dubai Expo and plans to spend a few days there for a break.
