Ellie Goulding And Her Husband, Caspar Jopling Have Welcomed Their First Child

In some happy news this bank holiday weekend, Ellie Goulding and her husband, Caspar Jopling have welcomed their first child together.

It was art dealer, Caspar who announced that their bundle of joy had arrived, as he shared it social media.

Posting on his Instagram stories he revealed; “Mum and baby both healthy and happy. Extremely grateful.”

“I don’t ever address the public attention that comes with Ellie’s job. But during this magical and personal moment we would really appreciate being able to enjoy our privacy.. Thank you.”

The Starry Eyed singer announced she was pregnant back in February in an interview with British Vogue, explaining that she found out she was pregnant last August, after performing a virtual show.

Confessing that she had “no idea” she was pregnant, a beaming Ellie told the publication that she found out on her one year wedding anniversary.

“We did the one show. I was pregnant and had no idea. That was the time when Caspar and I went away briefly when we were allowed to for our one-year anniversary, and that’s basically when we found out.”

Continuing, she added: “It was crazy because it was our one-year anniversary. That was not the plan. The thought of getting pregnant didn’t seem like it could be a reality. Becoming pregnant kind of made me feel human.”

The couple married back in 2019 and their star-studded wedding included guests like Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom as well as the royal family, with Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank in attendance.

No snaps of the little one have been shared yet as the pair are enjoying their privacy. Congratulations to them both!
