They’ve always been in each other’s circles, but Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence seem to be well on the road to becoming official pals.

Emma pulled off the ultimate celebrity BFF move last night, when she brought fellow A-lister Jennifer as her date to the premiere of her new film La La Land in New York. Here they are looking cute as anything on the red carpet:


Honestly, these two are sweeter than ANY Emma Stone/Andrew Garfield combo we could dream up.

Emma wore a full-length silk camisole from The Row for the Lionsgate viewing event, while Jennifer Lawrence mixed Ralph Lauren and La Perla with an all-black look.

Taylor Swift and her mammoth ‘girl squad’ might be a near-constant presence on social media these days, but we much prefer Emma and Jen’s low-key friendship.

Having split from Andrew Garfield for the second time last year, Emma’s been through a tough few months and told Vogue recently that 2016 has been full of “pros and cons” for her.

“It’s been a good year. And sad,” she said of life since the break-up, describing Andrew as “someone I still love very much.” Who needs a boyfriend though, when you have plus ones as cool as J-Law?
