Last night, we saw the next group of Irish celebs hit the dance floor during the second episode of Dancing With The Stars. During the episode, we saw Erica Cody make DWTS history as she received the highest score for a first routine in the show’s history.

Honestly? We’re not that surprised, we were all expecting massive things from Erica this season!

Erica and her partner, Denys Samson danced a lively and up-tempo samba to Kiss My (Uh Oh) by Anne Marie and Little Mix.

Of course, the pair absolutely wowed the judges and scored 24 points for their very first performance!

Reacting to her record-breaking score, Erica shared, “What a way to start the new year! That’s crazy.”

Speaking about taking part Erica said; “It was everything and more. He’s just amazing. It was straight back to basics – shake it. A whole new world for me. Denys is an amazing teacher. “

All the judges were full of praise for the couple with Arthur summing it up perfectly; “Week 2 dancefloor is already on fire. You came, slayed and conquered. Bravo.”

All of the votes from shows one and two will carry forward to next week, at the end of which, the first couple will be eliminated.
