Everything Sabrina Carpenter Has Said About Her Split From Barry Keoghan

Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan were one of our favourite couples of 2024.

However the Irish actor and the pop princess reportedly called time on their romance at the end of the year.

And now it looks like Sabrina has opened up about their split.

When asked on her relationship status in an interview with Rolling Stone, she said: “Am I doing the single thing right now?”

She adds: “I’m doing the 25-year-old thing right now, whatever that means.”

Sabrina, who turned 26 in May, is no stranger to a public relationship and breakup. She obviously writes songs about her romantic life. But she definitely got a new wave of fans because of the love triangle between her, Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett.

“You’re like, ‘That didn’t happen then. That did happen then. You’re missing a few key details there,’ ” she admitted.

“People underestimate how tricky it is to navigate being a young woman, having relationships, and then having a bunch of strangers have opinions on them.

“Because surely, all of these people that are commenting, if they had the same microscope on their personal lives, I don’t think they’d be as eloquently spoken as me.

“I know it’s a tale as old as time. It’s just unfortunate that it’s still a tale.”

Well with her new album, Man’s Best Friend, coming out in August, we’re sure we’ll get more of an insight into her romance with Barry.
