Everything Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week
Our fave things from this week!
Another week done and dusted. Happy Friday!
This week was a little gloomier than hoped, but we’ve still got a lot to feel good about – from trips in vintage cars…to a good cream blusher…to saving lives…you know yourself!
Let’s take a look at all the lovely things we’ve been enjoying this week.
Aoife is loving…Travelling in style
Little known fact about me; I love a vintage car. Granted, I can’t tell you anything about them other than that they look pretty, but I’m still counting it as an obsession even if it’s purely about the aesthetic.
This Thursday FREE NOW added a little flair to their taxi experience for Ladies Day at the Galway races, giving customers the chance to book a complimentary trip on the app in a glamorous 1930s style vintage Regent. How cool is that?
I just want to know if they can drop me to work on Monday…
Lorna is loving… Little Light charm bracelet

I’m not a big jewellery wearer, but when a piece catches my eye you can be sure it’ll be on my body for six months straight. Little Light, a stunning Irish jewellery business have just recently launched their highly anticipated charm bracelets and they are absolutely beautiful.
The charm bracelets (€59), are made from 14-carat gold plated on silver and each individual charm (€29), boasts a timeless design that will complement any outfit or occasion. The collection contains ten charms; each is a testament to the wearer’s personal journey, reflecting their passions, dreams, and unforgettable moments in their lives.
I don’t think I will ever take mine off!
Megan is loving… Sziget Festival
I’m heading away next weekend for my first-ever festival abroad. I’m so excited to see acts like Billie Eilish, Mumford and Sons and Lorde, as well as exploring Budapest.
Adele is loving… The Rachel Incident
Between annual leave days and the non-stop rain keeping me cooped up inside, I’ve been reading quite a lot. One of the best books I’ve read recently, in fact one of the best books I’ve read this year, is The Rachel Incident by Caroline O’Donoghue.
It’s the story of two friends, living in Cork in the 2010s, who embroil themselves in a romantic drama no one saw coming. Caroline cleverly weaves together a story that’s both funny and poignant, and what I love about it most is the feeling Caroline gives you of being ‘on the inside’, you feel like you’re right there with the main characters, giggling at private jokes, you feel like it’s all three of you vs the world.
If you’re looking for a holiday read, or a distraction to will away yet another wet Sunday afternoon, this will have you hooked!
Aoife is loving…Giving blood

Random, I know. But there’s something about giving blood that is so rewarding!
I donate blood a few times a year at the D’Olier street clinic in Dublin, and even though it involves a needle (not anyone’s favourite instrument) it’s always an experience I enjoy. The nurses are amazing and always so grateful to see you. If it’s your first time the process is a little longer than usual, but generally all you have to do is answer a few questions and then you can go on your phone or listen to music while they take your blood. Afterwards you can even have a little treat and a cuppa for free!
The best part? If your donation is passed on to someone in need, you’ll get a text to say thanks for helping to save a life. Incredible.
Lorna is loving… SEEK Nightclub at Hyde
As a 26 -year-old who still enjoys a good night out and a bit of a boogie but would rather do it around people her own age SEEK is the place I’ve always wanted in Dublin. A nightclub dedicated to the Over 25s, it’s truly the place to be for anyone wanting to let their hair down.
According to a survey conducted by SEEK 78 percent of Dubliners over the age of 25 say they don’t have a ‘go-to’ nightclub. From high-end, chic furnishings and décor choices, to decadent cocktails and the finest drinks on offer (plus an enormous accompanying rooftop bar to enjoy), Seek caters for the Dublin working professionals, with higher standards, wanting the best that Dublin has to offer.
Aoife is loving…Up Cosmetics

Creamy blush, pigmented shadows, glittery glosses; Up Cosmetics has got it all. I hadn’t tried the brand until recently, but I’m already sold – it all feels so luxurious!
The packaging is beautiful, and what’s inside does it’s job too. I’m particularly loving the shimmery cream eyeshadow ‘Brownie’, because it has such a rich colour and I barely need any other eye make-up; I just sweep it over my lid and I’m good to go!
Megan is loving…Aisling Ever After
We had a gorgeous book club event in Hyde Dublin last night to celebrate the final OMG WACA book. I was delighted to chat to authors Emer McLysaght and Sarah Breen in front of 50 lovely readers. While I’m so sad to see the series come to an end, the final instalment is everything I wanted it to be. It’s full of the usual heart and humour but also showed us how strong Aisling is and how much she’s grown over five books. Get it from August 31st.
