I love a soft lip, but I also love when that lip has a lovely little tint too.

Editorial intern Olivia is loving… language learning

Staying on top of language learning can be quite a challenge. Since deciding to pick up German in college I have found that speaking a little every day is the most effective way for me to learn.

Now coming into the colder autumn months I’m looking forward to spending more time on my language learning journey. I recently found the Easy German channel on YouTube which has been super helpful in improving my conversational German.

So handy!

More specifically, supermarket sweeps that involve beautiful beauty products in fun and unique packaging.

Benefit is about to open their Benemart holiday concept shop in Arnotts, and the bits are stunning!

Nothing screams autumn like the return of the pumpkin spice latte. Although I’m generally a caramel iced latte lover, when autumn comes around it would be a crime not to dabble with this nostalgic autumnal flavour.

Stopping off at a coffee shop on the morning commute is a ritual for so many but on those WFH days leaving your warm and cozy home isn’t always the most enticing.

Jade is loving… A good horror

Anyone who knows me, knows I love horror. It’s my favourite genre. I’ll sit down, scare myself silly, and need to sleep with the light on for days.

I accept it, it’s fine with me.

This week, Universal hosted a special preview of Speak No Evil, the new horror thriller starring James McEvoy, and lads, it was sufficiently spooky.

Based on the Danish 2022 film of the same name, the remake follows a family’s experience as they spend a weekend with a couple they met on holiday. Naturally, not everything is as it seems.

The remake isn’t quite as uncomfortable and upsetting as the original, but honestly, that’s probably a good thing for Irish audiences.

Speak No Evil is out in cinemas now.
