Everything Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week
All the bits
Suddenly, February came and went, and still it’s cold, grey, and a little bit miserable.
But look, it’s not all doom and gloom. There’s still plenty of nice things that Team STELLAR has been enjoying this week.
Here they are.
Head of Digital Jade is loving… Fabulous food
It’s been a while since I’ve had a meal that has been, from beginning to end, totally perfect.
The food, the ambiance, the service, the drinks – it can be hard to come by a spot that has it all, and executes it all flawlessly.
The Unicorn is one of those spots. Located on Merrion Row and first opening in 1938, the Italian restaurant has a long history steeped in politics and culture.
But I wasn’t there for nostalgia, I was there for the food – and The Unicorn delivered.
Myself and my partner started with the burrata and goats cheese bruschetta, and as big cheese fans, we were enthralled. But then came the main event – the fresh truffle and mushroom risotto.
This may be the best risotto I have ever tasted. The depth, the earthiness, the fact that head chef Kristan came out to shave the truffle atop our dishes himself. Every bite was an indulgence.
We finished with a cheese board to share and a glass of bubbles, already planning our next visit.
If you’re hoping to head along some time soon, The Unicorn have just launched a special Mother’s Day menu, as well as a new pre-theatre and lunch menu. You can find out more here.
Editorial intern Nia is loving… Flawless face tan
Achieving a tanned look in this Irish weather still feels impossible, no sun or UV just grey skies and rain. Since my teenage disco days, I’ve tried many different tans, but I always avoided applying them to my face.
After the tan developed, I’d be left with a very pale face and a bronzed body which I could only fix with makeup. I tend to have breakouts with new products and just didn’t think it was worth the risk, until I discovered Irish owned Bellamianta Tan Dreams Sleep Mask.
I woke up to my skin feeling hydrated and bronzed, I was no longer completely two different shades. The formula is infused with hyaluronic acid and ceramides which deeply hydrate and work to enhance the skin’s overall health and appearance. No more breakouts for me.
The sleep mask is also buildable so you can achieve your desired tan, and best news of all it’s currently on sale on the Bellamianta website.
Jade is loving… A good runner
It’s officially gym szn – at least, it is in my house. I’ve been going a lot, and it’s been great for my mental health and general energy.
I’ve also been going wearing Lidl’s new Crivit Carbon-Plated Trainers, and honestly, I’ve been loving them.
Runners with carbon fiber are generally the go-to for anyone super into running. They’re also generally super expensive.
The internal plate is engineered to provide maximum propulsion and energy return, snapping the foot forward as you move and making it easier to walk and run.
The lightweight, ultra-responsive foam offers superior cushioning and shock absorption, making the runners very comfortable – especially if you’re working out for a long time.
These runners will be available to buy in Lidl from Monday, 9th March for just €49.99. Bargain, legit.
Nia is loving… The EOS influence
After a recent trip to America, one of my main priorities was, of course, roaming the aisles of Target. I’m sure you have seen it on TikTok, Instagram and possibly Pinterest too, the EOS body lotion is on the top of everyone’s to-buy list.
The 24-hour moisturiser with 7 nourishing oils and butters smells dreamy, let’s just say I popped more than enough bottles into my basket.
I tried the vanilla cashmere scent, and my skin felt so soft. Throughout the day, I kept smelling my arm, which now that I’m thinking about it definitely looked weird if anyone had seen me.
Now this product is unfortunately not available in Ireland, but there is a hopeful dupe in the recently enough opened Normal store in Dublin. If it is even half as good as the EOS one, I will be more than happy.
Jade is loving… A bouncy blush

It’s a blush world, and we’re just living in it.
From creams to powders to sticks to liquids, there’s a blush for every occasion, a shade for every vibe.
Benefit have just launched their latest blush offering, and there’s not one but two blushes that are super pigmented, buildable, and totally weightless.
The first (and my fav) is the Benefit Juice Stick, a dewy blush that gives a sheer flush of colour and leaves the skin looking hydrated and pigmented.
Then there’s Play Daze, a liquid blush with a soft texture that provides super pigmented drops of colour across the skin. Stun.
Nia is loving… Your spot’s worst nightmare
A product I have tried for the first time this week has far exceeded my expectations. The INKEY List’s Hydrocolloid Invisible Pimple Patches, have truly helped my spots magically disappear overnight.
The box comes with 22 patches with 2 different sizes, which draw out unwanted gunk and unclog your pores. I have found my skin has really cleared up from using the Bellamianta Sleep Mask but there always seems to be an annoying pimple that’s loves to appear no matter what.
Invisible spot patches are great because you can wear them all day, just by themselves or you can put them under makeup. They are also not hugely expensive, at under €10 in most shops, and these ones can be purchased in Space NK, LookFantastic and Boots.
