Breaking news in the literary world this week as Dolly Alderton, the acclaimed author of Ghosts and Everything I Know About Love has announced the release of her upcoming novel, Good Material.

The long awaited book is set to hit shelves this November, 2023.

For those not in the know, Dolly Alderton is a literary sensation. Known as a bestselling author and columnist for The Sunday Times Style, her previous books have taken readers on a journey through love and heartbreak.

With Good Material, Alderton is taking a different approach to her usual work. This time around, she’s writing from a male perspective with the book’s main character being a 35 year old man named Andy. The book follows Andy as he navigates through a terrible breakup with a woman he believed to be ‘the one.’

The story is set against the backdrop of his faltering comedy career, social media struggles, and a dwindling social circle – all while sofa surfing on his best friend’s couch.

Of course, the announcement of a new Alderton book is cause for celebration among her legions of fans, who have been eagerly awaiting the novel. With the release date still months away, there’s plenty of time to start planning the perfect reading party.
