It looks like Love Island’s Dr Alex George is in a new relationship with barristers’ clerk, Ellie Hecht.

An insider has told the Mail Online that “Alex and Ellie have been dating for six months now, and it’s beginning to get serious between them.”

“They’re currently enjoying some much-earned time away in Cornwall, where they’ve been relaxing and spending time together outdoors,” the source revealed.

A quick look at the pair’s Instagram seems to confirm these rumours.

Both Alex and Ellie have shared the same image of the pair looking cosy while enjoying their time in the sun at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm in Cornwall.

Alex wrote: The 🍎 of my eye. While Ellie wrote: My ❤️

The pair also follow each other on Instagram and have liked some of each other’s pictures.

In a post about his trip to Cornwall, Dr Alex Wrote: “ON ME HOLIDAYS 🌞 Ok, the sun might not be out yet but I am absolutely loving getting away for some chill time 🙌 The coast is so beautiful here, there is much stomping to be done. I might have to try a Cornish pasty and of course a local cider or two. Just what the doctor ordered 😊”

Dr Alex has been on the front line, working in A&E since the beginning of the pandemic. The Love Island star sat his GP exams in the middle of it all. He also lost his only brother to suicide in July 2020.

“Alex has had a difficult year, with the passing of his brother and working nonstop on the frontline,” the source told the Mail Online.

While Dr Alex takes a well deserved break, we’ll be here, waiting for some more snaps of the happy couple together!
