Fancy A Peek Inside Matt Damon’s Dalkey Hide Away?

It’s one of few things in life bringing us joy right now, but the story of Matt Damon living his best-quarantined life in Dalkey is the story that just keeps on growing.

The Hollywood star has been seamlessly fitting into Dalkey life, saying hello to all the little old ladies while on his daily exercise, having a dip in the sea with his clothes kept safely inside a SuperValu bag, and getting so paly with the residents that they tell US journalists where to go if they’re looking for some goss from them.

However, there’s one thing still on our minds, where exactly is Matt staying? And what does it look like?

While one hopes that he’s stuck inside a 3-bed terrace house having absolute murder with his family, just like the rest of us, it seems that there’s still a little LA in Matt yet, as he’s isolating in what can only be described as a whopper of a gaff.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, Matt is staying in ex-formula 1 racing star Eddie Irvine’s previous home, which was placed on the rental market last year for €7K a week (yes, you read that correct).

With five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a games room, swimming pool, sauna, and bar, it looks like Matt’s family isn’t having too much of a bad time with this whole lockdown thing.

While lockdown measures continue both here and in the US, it looks like Matt and co will be stuck in Dalkey for another while yet, but when you have your own cinema and Van Morrison as your neighbour, things aren’t so bad.
