Filming For The Great British Bake Off Has Been Postponed
We are devo as we couldn't wait to see it back on our screens.
We were just getting seriously excited for the new season of Bake Off, but sadly filming has been put on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Of course this makes sense, but we are devo as we couldn’t wait to see it back on our screens.
We’ve just finished watching the Stand Up To Cancer celeb special which was fantastic (we’ll never ever get over Ovie’s showstopper) and it’s just made us want more.
The show had already begun filming, but this has now been halted, a statement released said this will be “until it is safe to proceed.”
This comes only a few weeks after they announced that Noel Fielding will now be joined by a new co-host, Matt Lucas which is a pairing we are very interested to see on our screens.

On your marks, get set… say hello to the newest member of the Bake Off team – Matt Lucas! #GBBO
The show usually airs around August, so for now we have no exact date for when it will be re-scheduled until.
In the meantime, if you haven’t had a chance to watch the celeb special we would strongly recommend it. Watching Louis Theroux bake was all we ever needed.
