First Look At Tonight’s Big Brother: Jordan Opens Up & The Housemates Nominate

Our obsession with Jordan continues!

From Initial TV

We are living for the newest season of Big Brother, which is refreshing reality TV like no show has done in a long time!

On tonight’s episode, for the second time this series, housemates are required to nominate one another for eviction.

This week, each housemate is instructed by Big Brother to nominate two of their fellow housemates to be up for eviction, with the two or more housemates with the most nominations facing the public vote on Friday.

Since Farida’s eviction on Friday, viewers have watched as tensions in the house have continued to rise around food, housework and housemates’ commitment to passing their weekly shopping task.

In one of Matty’s nominations he comments: “It just makes me cringe when someone throws a tantrum who’s an adult.” Meanwhile Chanelle nominates someone for the chopping block because “you don’t want to get in her path when she’s hungry.”

Noky remarked in one of her nominations: “It irritates me when you see someone taking and taking and taking but you don’t see them giving back.”

Elsewhere, Paul opted to nominate Trish on the basis that he feels he is “getting lectured a little bit rather than just having a clear, open, light-hearted conversation.” Trish returned the favour by nominating Paul, stating that he is “emotionally not very intelligent.” She went on to say: “There’s no deepness to him. He’s just not interesting in my opinion.”

But exactly who has garnered the most nominations and will face eviction on Friday? Viewers will have to tune in tonight to find out…

Later in the evening, in the aftermath of nominations, Jordan begins to open up to Matty about his journey with his sexuality.

“I’m glad to be here. Glad to be queer.” Jordan told Matty before bringing up the topic of his coming out.

“I came out to my mother the first night of university, screaming down the phone in the smoking area because there was this guy that I fancied,” he tells Matty. “And I thought for some reason, if I come out to my mother this guy will want to…”

He went on to say: “How I came out to my grandfather was even worse. Me and my mother, well we were both a little bit tipsy, and she thought it was pertinent to call my grandfather and announce-.”

The boys’ conversation is interrupted by the arrival of Zak who asks what they’re talking about, however a bashful Jordan informs him: “Oh, it’s too embarrassing to share so I won’t share it at the moment.”

Now the housemates have made their choices, who goes – the public decides!

Big Brother continues tonight at 10pm on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
