First Look: The Kissing Competition Causes A Stir And The Public Vote Is Revealed
We just want to see Whitney thriving, tbh.
The challenges in this season’s Love Island have caused ripples throughout the villa – and there’s no sign of the producers giving this cast a break! Tonight will also call for a surprise gathering around the fire-pit, with the results off a public vote revealed. It just keeps getting better!
Tonight we’ll see Sammy receive a text, which reads: “Islanders, it’s time to test your lipsing skills in today’s challenge The Kissing Competition. #PuckerUp #LipsLocked.”
Taking place by the pool, the boys are blindfolded wearing noise cancelling headphones and lined up ready for the kissing to commence. Each girl then takes it in turns to kiss the boys one-by-one, receiving a score out of ten, and the girl with the most points is crowned winner.
Lipgloss at the ready, the majority of the girls give it their all, but some hold back their best for their respective partners. Catherine, Jess, Mal and Whitney are definitely not shy in showing off their smooching skills.
As Whitney takes on the challenge, Leah gasps: “Oh my god, she’s going in.”
Whitney gives her verdict on the boys as she says: “Mitch was giving teeth, Scott wasn’t giving.”
Will this be the last time some of these Islanders share a kiss? And which boy awkwardly muddles the girl he is coupled up with? Awkward is not the word!
Later that night, something else comes to haunt the islanders. The public have been voting for their favourite boy and favourite girl – and it’s time for the results to be shared with the Villa.
The Islanders are taken by surprise when Kady receives a text: “Can all Islanders gather around the fire pit”.
As their phones start to ping, the results leave the Islanders speechless.
What impact will this have on the Islanders? And who will be leaving the Villa?
Dun. Dun. Dun!
