Ever since we found out about Olivia Wilde’s new film “Don’t Worry Darling” we haven’t been able to contain our excitement for its release.
Starring Florence Pugh and Harry Styles, the story follows them as a presumably happily married couple living in an idyllic town with a dark mystery. Not going to lie, you had us at Florence and Harry!!
Just the other day, Florence took to Instagram to share another teaser for the highly anticipated movie.
In an eight-second clip, Pugh and Styles’ characters are seen cuddling in bed before the footage cuts to a group of mysterious pale figures menacingly creeping toward the camera. Weird or what?!

Accompanying the new footage, Florence wrote “Not everyone gets this opportunity…” It’s all so mysterious… WE’RE OBSESSED.
Directed by Olivia, the film, which she describes as a “love letter to movies that push the boundaries of our imagination,” also stars Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Nick Kroll and Chris Pines.
Set in the 1950s, the story centres around Alice (Florence) and Jack (Harry), a married couple who live in an experimental company town that houses the men who work for a top-secret project and their families.
“But when cracks in their idyllic life begin to appear, exposing flashes of something much more sinister lurking beneath the attractive façade, Alice can’t help questioning exactly what they’re doing in Victory, and why,” according to the film’s website official synopsis.

Described as “an audacious, twisted and visually stunning psychological thriller,” we have no doubt it’s going to be one people talk about for years to come.
Speaking to Variety, Olivia posed a scenario, “I want you to imagine a life where you have everything you could want,” she said. “What would it take for you to give up that life, that perfect life? That’s the big question at the centre of Don’t Worry Darling.”
Luckily, we don’t have too long to wait for its release as it’s set to open in theatres in Ireland on September 23rd. But until then, you can watch the official trailer here.
