All the trending grub you need to know about!

The weekend is here and of course, we’re planning to spend it treating ourselves as much as we can before we (in our eyes, anyways) say farewell to the summer at the end of the month.

Yes, we’re aware it’s actually autumn, but we all know summer doesn’t end until September starts, right?

So, until then, catch us with a glass of wine in our hands and some delish food on our plates!

Where to eat, what to eat and what to know, well, that’s where we come in, bringing you the latest foodie report straight off the press.

It’s the STELLAR food roundup.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen reopen doors after 16 months closed

For the first time since the pandemic began, much loved casual dining restaurant Gourmet Burger Kitchen finally celebrated the reopening of its South Anne Street branch today after being closed for the past 16 months.

Known for its delicious burgers which come in lots of different varieties such as with chicken, beef or veggie options, GBK has been a hit since it first launched in 2006 and we’re thrilled to see them back open.

With four branches based in the Dublin area (South Anne Street, South William Street, Liffey Valley and Temple Bar) the revamped menu also includes some exciting new bites worth checking out!

As I’m sure you’ve all seen (or tasted) by now, the Cadbury Caramilk has arrived on Irish shores. Noted as the much-loved Australian chocolate classic, the bar is a golden blend of white chocolate – a unique combination of a melt-in-the-mouth golden caramel chocolate, combined with a smooth silky texture.

First being released in Australia, when fans went wild for it down under, it was only right that the bar got a chance to feel the love here too.

The bar is available in two sizes in leading retailers nationwide.

Formerly a popular Dublin nightclub, The South William on South William Street has opened its doors again, but this time it’s a restaurant. Moving from Drury Street into the new location, Juanitos restaurant has moved into the premise with lots of seats and good food in Dublin 2.

Serving mexican “LA soul food”, Junaitos has become a favourite with foodies in the capital for its mouthwatering dishes from popcorn chicken to burritos and divine cocktails.
