Gas! Remember The Adorable Chip Mug? Penneys Has Responded To It Selling Out In The Best Way

Beauty and the Beast fans couldn't get their hands on Chip mugs, so this is the next best thing.

Fans of Beauty And The Beast were V excited when Penneys announced the arrival of adorable Disney Chip cups… only to have their hearts broken when the cups quickly sold out.

This disappointment led to the creation of the hashtag #ChipGate, and Penneys, or Primark in the UK, have since responded the funniest way.

Check out these nifty socks! They read, “I wanted a chip mug but all I could get were these socks.” Gas!

The euro price is yet to be revealed but at only £1 sterling, they’re bound to be cheap as chips… see what we did there?
