Gemma Owen Reveals Why She Hasn’t Shared Her PLT News On Social Media

The Love Island star signed a major deal with PrettyLittleThing on the heels of her runner-up title in this year’s series.

But eagle-eyed fans may have noticed that although PrettyLittleThing shared the news to their Instagram posting a gorgeous snap of Gemma signing some pink papers at PLT HQ, the news is nowhere to be found on the personal page of the football legend’s daughter.

It is surprising that such a big deal isn’t the first picture we see pinned on the reality star’s Instagram page, but Gemma let fans know exactly why she isn’t talking about her exciting news.

Taking to Instagram stories Gemma wrote, “So desperate to speak to you all about my very exciting news but at the moment I’m not allowed due to previous contractual obligations. Keep your eyes peeled.”

The text was set over a pink background, whether it was coincidental or not, it screamed PLT pink.

Gemma has reportedly been in demand by for different fashion houses including Boohoo and PrettyLittleThing but it looks like PLT won over the Love Island finalist.

Speaking to MailOnline Gemma said, “This really is a dream come true for me. I wore PrettyLittleThing throughout my time on the show and now being announced as one of their newest ambassadors alongside some incredible talent including Love Island alumni is really special.
