Three days ago, it was announced that *reportedly* Gigi Hadid was expecting her first baby with Zayn Malik. Then, came the gender reveal party/birthday party speculations, followed by Gigi’s mam Yolanda confirming the news, and that the pair are expecting a baby girl. But just like that old saying, you kind of have to hear it from the horse’s mouth, don’t you? Well, Gigi has just confirmed the news herself.

Gigi appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon via video call to reveal her news to the world. She announced her appearance on the show over on her Instagram stories, with three exclamation mark emojis, so you just knew something was going down. Those exclamation emojis tell a story in themselves.

After Jimmy congratulated her on her pregnancy, she said: “We’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support.” Jimmy then added, “It was the ray of sunshine that we all need.”

Gigi is currently self-isolating with Zayn and her family, saying that she feels lucky to be able to spend so much time with the father to be right now. “It’s a nice silver lining to be able to be home and be together and really experience it day by day”, she said.

Gigi opened up that about her pregnancy cravings, admitting she’s craving all the bagels. So now, all those baked treats from her birthday party make even more sense. “I was so excited that everything was bagel. Then I found out that Buddy the Cake Boss made my cake,” she shared. “I don’t know if it’s my hormones right now or quarantine emotions but I cried every five minutes for like an hour. Every time I thought that Buddy made my cake. I couldn’t stop crying.”

We can’t cope with all of this, can you just imagine how CUTE that child is going to be?
