Wearing masks in certain settings like shops and public transport is so important right now, and something we’re all doing to play our part in stopping the spread of Coronavirus.
However, The downside to wearing a mask a lot is pesky spots and bumps on the chin and mouth area, better known as maskne.
Even top celebs are suffering from it too, and while it’s nothing to be ashamed of, it’s nice to know some ways of treating it so you’re not in pain or uncomfortable.
Hailey Bieber is one such celeb, who recently shared a few skin hacks with us, revealing how she keeps the maskne at bay.
“The one thing that I started doing in quarantine that really changed my skin a couple months ago was double cleansing,” Hailey told Allure.
“Double cleansing has really been a big game-changer for me,” she added, saying that it has helped her avoid maskne.

If you’re not double cleansing, we recommend giving it a go. It’s essentially using a non-rinse cleanser to take off makeup, dirt or excess oil, then using a more gentle cleanser on your clean skin. It’s been popular for a long time in K-Beauty but is becoming a mainstream routine for many people all over the world.
If it’s good enough for glowy goddess Hailey, it’s good enough for us!
This isn’t the first time Hailey’s opened up about her skincare routine however, which she often keeps pretty simple.
In July, while on hols with hubby Justin, Hailey revealed that her skin is always best after swimming in sea water.
“Sometimes nature is the ultimate beauty hack,” she said at the time.
