Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are wasting no time in immersing themselves in their new hometown in LA.

It has been reported by Entertainment Tonight that the couple has signed up to volunteer to help deliver food to those cocooning amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The charity, Project Angel Food delivers vital meals to those who are most vulnerable at this time due to an underlying illness and or their age. The project is currently delivering 1600 meals a day, with the figure set to keep rising.

Richard Ayoub, the project’s executive director said he’s delighted to have the two onboard, with them wasting no time in pushing up their sleeves and getting down to business, doing their first round on Easter Sunday.

“I am blown away that they chose us. They care about our vulnerable population,”

“They told us they heard our drivers were overloaded and wanted to volunteer to lighten the drivers’ workload,” he said.

Harry and Meghan carried out their job adhering to all the guidelines, keeping their distance while wearing gloves and masks.

It’s believed that Meghan is familiar with the charity, from growing up in the area as a child she became familiar with the project and their incredible work. Her own mother, Doria Ragland is a currently a frontline worker.

It seems that things are fairly busy for Meg and Haz at the minute, as their high court hearing against a newspaper for publishing a private and confidential letter is due to take place remotely today.

The couple have also recently issued a letter to the UK tabloid press stating that they would not be co-operating with them anymore.
