‘He Can’t Wait’: Niall Horan Just Confirmed Liam and Cheryl’s Baby News

It’s been the most badly kept celebrity secret of the last few months, but finally someone has spoken openly about Liam Payne and Cheryl’s pregnancy.

Chatting to reporters at an event in London last night, January 25th, Liam’s One Direction bandmate said pre-baby nerves were definitely on the horizon.

“Liam hasn’t said he nervous but I’m sure he is. I bet he can’t wait as well. It is a very exciting thing in your life,” he told the Daily Star at the opening of Larry King’s new West London salon.

Niall had nothing but praise for Liam and Cheryl’s relationship, which kicked off shortly after Cheryl split from her husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in January 2016. “He’s great and she’s lovely, it will be a lovely child,” the singer said. “They are in love.”

Rumours that the couple were expecting first began circulating back in October, when Cheryl was photographed at Paris Fashion Week with what looked undeniably like a baby bump. Shortly before Christmas she was photographed again with a larger bump, but despite the photos neither Liam nor Cheryl have publicly confirmed the news.

Just last week, Cheryl’s hair stylist Wendy Iles shared a snap of the singer on a photoshoot, with her bump also clearly visible. Going on the Paris Fashion Week photos, we’re guessing Cheryl is around six months along, meaning a mini-me will definitely be on the way before the summer.
