Happy Earth Day!
For those who don’t know, Earth Day is celebrated on April 22nd every year, and the day marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970.
On Earth Day, the mission is simple – to inspire us to consciously think about how we can protect the environment and focus on the need for conservation.
People from all across the world tend to share photos of parts of the world that they love on Earth Day, highlighting how beautiful they are in their natural state and how important it is that they look like this for generations to come.
Getting involved in Earth Day couldn’t be more easy and it’s all about the small changes that you make. From cleaning up your local beach to planting a garden at home, signing an environmental action petition to reducing and minimising your use of plastic, these little steps will surprisingly bring about big change and of course, spreading the word, opening up conversations, researching and learning more about this place that we call home is also very important too!
So, to celebrate the day where we honour the world, its beauty and its importance, here are 10 beautiful locations in Ireland to honour Earth Day.
