After just under two years of dating, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly shared on social media last night that they’re getting married.

It doesn’t come as a huge surprise to fans as the pair have been loved up to say the least since they began their relationship, so it’s only natural that the pair have decided to take things to the next stage. However, it’s the manner of the proposal that has tounges wagging the most.

In true Meg/Machine Gun style, the pair shared all the details on their Instagram accounts – the good, the bad, and the ugly. Beginning with when and where the proposal took place.

Under the same tree that they began their relationship, Megan wrote: “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic.”

Continuing on, Megan said that the pair have been through a lot in the last year and a half together. “We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”

Getting to the actual proposal, Megan said:

“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him”

“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes”

“and then we drank each other’s blood” – well duh don’t we all do that?!

Capturing the moment Megan said yes on camera, a montage was put together showing every angle of the occasion.

Over on his own Instagram Machine Gun shared the story behind the ring he chose for Megan, which is stunning btw.

“I know tradition is one ring, but i designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love”

So far no details have emerged of when exactly the two will tie the knot but given the fast-paced nature of their relationship we can’t imagine we’ll have too long to wait before the big day. Anyone else hoping for a joint ceremony with Kravis?
