Here’s All The Rumoured Cast Members For Celebrity Big Brother

Celebrity Big Brother is returning to our screens in the coming months – hooray!

And obviously, the people behind the scenes are eager to get the cream of the crop in the show as it premieres on brand new station, ITV.

The likes of Rebekah Vardy and Sarah Ferguson have all been eyed by the powers that be… and an Irish star is apparently tipped to join the line-up.

According to The Sun, ITV bosses are desperate to get Louis Walsh in the Big Brother house. Yep, Louis Walsh. Can you imagine?

It’s reported that the network have dropped €2 million to secure their ideal housemates.

“The team behind the programme are being clever about the kind of celebs they’re considering. They don’t just want big names in there — they want stars who will bring something truly intriguing,” a source told the publication.

Speaking about Louis the source explained that he is “just the kind of figure they want in the house” going on to say that he is “someone with serious life experience who not only has something to say, but isn’t afraid to say it”.

They are eager to “some of the most outstanding moments of Celebrity Big Brother”.

Other rumoured contestants include Gogglebox’s Gyles Brandreth, Strictly’s Shirley Ballas, Loose Women’s Linda Robson, Joey Essex, and apparently Philip Schofield.

ITV’s director of reality commissioning and acquisitions and controller Paul Mortimer said: “The reception from our viewers to Big Brother’s return has been fantastic.

“We’re therefore thrilled to announce that we’ll be bringing our very own celebrity edition to ITV1 and ITVX. Casting is under way to find a new batch of famous faces who are sure to provide more iconic and unmissable BB moments.”

And despite the rumours, an insider has said that any reports are, at the moment “purely speculation.”

We’ll just have to wait and see…
