Here’s Everything Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week
<3
It’s the final weekend of August, and that can only mean one thing – it’s Electric Picnic weekend.
Are you going? Are you en route? Are you struggling to find a spot to pitch your tent because apparently all of the campsites are full?
No matter your vibe for the weekend, make some time to see what we’ve been loving this week.
… Orange wine (that’s not extortionate)
Orange wine is the drink of the moment.
It’s fresh, it’s light, it’s white wine but it’s still got the skins on and it’s seriously tasty… while also being generally super expensive to buy out.
A glass will generally set you back around €13+ in Ireland, but now Aldi are selling their own version of orange wine…. and it’s only €11.99.
Their Austrian Orange Wine, according to wine expert Tom Dooley, boasts the spicy pepperiness of Grüner Veltliner, finishing with a slight tannic kick. Gorge.
… A bit of broc
If you know me, you know I’m a big foodie. I love cheese, I love bread, I love veg, I love all of it.
I especially love a bit of tenderstem broccoli, especially in a pasta dish, airfried in some hot honey, and obviously in a toastie.
Tenderstem are collabing with Tribe Café in September for a ‘Veg up your Toastie’ weekend.
From Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st September, customers at Tribe’s Knocklyon and Rathgar cafés can try the Tenderstem limited edition toasties for just €5.
Yum!
… A serious setting spray
Wearing a face full of makeup and simultaneously sweating to death is a tough combination.
You want to look good but the foundation is running off your face. You’re eager to serve a #look but your body has other ideas.
I recently tried Charlotte Tilbury’s new Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray Matte and it’s seriously changed the setting spray game.
It’s super light and waterproof, which makes it a dream to use. It also blurs, mattifies, smooths and sets makeup for up to 16 hours – and honestly, I’ve been out for the day, come home, and my makeup still look good. Unreal.
… The Women’s Rugby World Cup
Women’s sport has only been going from strength to strength in Ireland, and with the Women’s Rugby World Cup currently on, there’s only one thing to do.
Pop your jersey on, crack open a cold one, and enjoy the match.
Asahi Super Dry are this year’s official beer and principal partner, and they’re as delighted as we are to be supporting women in sport.
They’ve also these unreal jerseys to mark the occasion – obsessed.
… Hair bits
