Chrishell Stause, star of Selling Sunset, has quite an unusual name. The kind of name that sticks in your head.

If you’ve ever found yourself watching the reality real estate show and had your mind wander to the meaning behind Chrishell’s unusual name, wonder no more as we have the answers.

A video on TikTok has gone viral where the user says:

“I was thinking what a beautiful name Chrishell is. I was thinking, is it Spanish? Is it Italian?”

“So I googled it, and you’re never going to guess…”

“Her mum gave birth to her at a Shell Petrol station and the guy who delivered her was called Chris”

Yep, that’s correct, Chrishell is called Chrishell because her mother went into labour while in a petrol station and the store attendant Chris gave her assistance.

In another plot twist, it also turns out that Chrishell’s first name isn’t actually Chrishell, but rather Terrina instead. Chrishell is actually her middle name but she prefers to go by Chrishell.
