Ever want to live like a Kardashian? Of course you do, well we now have the recipe to Kourtney K’s favourite breakfast.
We know what you’re thinking, if it’s to do when Kourtney it’s probably gluten free, dairy free and sugar free and really, how good can that taste? Well, the reviews for this dish are actually pretty great.
In a video with TikTok star Addison Rae, Kourtney reveals that she’s been eating her signature avocado pudding for breakfast for five years now. In the video the pair along with Kardashian/Jenner family friend Harry Hudson enjoy a cup of the pale green avocado pudding after a gruelling workout.
Addison boasts about the pudding saying “this is like, the greatest thing I’ve ever eaten. I wish everyone understood like I actually love it.” While Kourtney chimes in saying “ You either love it or hate it”, much like avocado itself, I suppose.
Tempted to try it? The Poosh recipe is as follows:
- 1 organic avocado, pitted and peeled
- 1 cup organic plant-based milk (Kourt alternates non-dairy options) *in the video Kourtney specifies they used home-made macadamia milk*
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of MCT oil
- 2 tsp Manuka honey or dates
- 1 stick of Brain-on
Blend ingredients until smooth.
This recipe is a little more than what you may have in your local supermarket with MCT oil and Brain-on which is a ‘blue/green algae extract’…. so, if you’re not feeling like tracking down some algae for your brekkie there is an alternative.
Kourtney shared a simpler version of the recipe with Today.com back in 2016 which seems more manageable and it only has 3 ingredients!
- 1 whole avocado
- 1 cup coconut milk (can be alternated with other non-dairy milks)
- 2 teaspoons honey, preferably Manuka honey
In a blender, add the ingredients and blend until smooth. Serve in short glasses and enjoy with a spoon.
That seems much more manageable, if you’re an avocado lover this could be a game changer for you, if not, unfortunately it may not be your taste, but you never know, why not try it out anyway? If it’s good enough for Kourtney Kardashian it’s good enough for us!
